Kale & Cashew Smoothie

Don’t feel like cooking a meal? Start out with blenderized bliss that supports your microbiome as well. Throwing these ingredients in a blender takes less than 5 minutes, and the resulting smoothie is packed with nutrition. (This food has 3 carbohydrates, so share a little with a friend.)

 1 cup cup kale, stems and all
 ¼ cup cashews
 1 banana
 2 tbsp pea protein powder (vanilla flavored)
 ½ tsp pea protein powder (vanilla flavored)
 1 tsp honey
 1 cup almond milk
 1 cup ice
 1 cup water to desired thickness

The kale can be switched out with other greens, if you have them available. Clean the greens first, in your salad spinner. Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. Add water for desired thickness. Enjoy!
